WhatsApp for free, for ever!
More than 900.000.000 users in the world, and now the most famous texting and voice message provider in the world decided to remove the fee, nobody will pay the 99 cent after the first year.
Here the words of Jan Koum: “For many years, we’ve asked some people to pay a fee for using WhatsApp after their first year. As we’ve grown, we’ve found that this approach hasn’t worked well. (…) Many WhatsApp users don’t have a debit or credit card number and they worried they’d lose access to their friends and family after their first year. So over the next several weeks, we’ll remove fees from the different versions of our app and WhatsApp will no longer charge you for our service.”
And for those who are asking to themself how they will earn money to keep active the service, Koum explained that they have some projects that includes banks and public services, and maybe some ads.
