Robert Lewandowski comes off the bench to score five goals in nine minutes as Bayern Munich beat Wolfsburg.

The goals came so quickly from Robert Lewandowski that it was hard to keep track of them.

A left-footed stab only minutes after he entered the game. A right-footed blast from just outside the penalty area. His third shot even tried to stay out, caroming back to Lewandowski off the post, but he quickly put the ball in the net from there, too.

Then a fourth. Then a fifth. In nine stunning minutes, Lewandowski, Bayern Munich's Polish striker, scored a hat trick and then some in a 5-1 Bundesliga victory over Wolfsburg.

The scoresheet read like a lottery ticket: 51', 52', 55', 57', 60'. By the time the scoring spree ended, Bayern's manager, Pep Guardiola, stood stunned on the sideline, his hands on his cheeks.

"This was just crazy," Lewandowski told reporters having instantly turned the game around after the Bavarians trailed 1-0 at half-time. "Five goals, that's just unbelievable. "I am very, very satisfied. This was a great evening for me.

"We were behind at the end of the first half and I wanted to step on the gas because we needed two goals," said the Poland captain, who in 2013 scored four goals for Borussia Dortmund against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

"I look up at the board after the third or fourth goal and I was surprised there was still so much time left to play. The coach did not have to tell me anything. I knew what had to be done."
