Beijing :China posted a 6.9 percent GDP in third quarter of this year to register its weakest growth since the 2009 global financial crisis which could prompt the leadership to roll out a fresh stimulus package to arrest the slowdown of the world's second largest economy.
The economy posted a 6-9-percent growth year on year in the third quarter of 2015,lower than 7 percent in the first half of the year,China's National Bureau of statistics (NBS) announced today.
The government has set seven percent as the GDP target for this year.
