50th Anniversary Independence All Inclusive – Valsayn
A party parade held by Yorke INC and FB Promotions.
Location # 39, Windsor Road North Valsayn
on September 1, 2012 was a belly full delight indeed, with an even brighter
spotlight, which sparkled into Trini pride all around, as the evening event, stood out in total recognition,
to our Independence as our National colours, Red, White, Black and Patriot Gerald Yorke
could be seen throughout the venue.
True patriots, as patrons mingled, ate, laughed,
danced and celebrated in glee, 50 years jubilee, give way to a bigger ideology, an
appreciation to being a Trinbagonian, as Soca Artiste Dereck Seales (DIL-E-NADAN), also joined this blissful
occasion, with a musical tribute, and a brief musical history / Q&A to who won the (1962) Road
March in the same year we gained Independence.
Some shouted Sparrow others yelled
The Roaring Lion, but when told, it was none other than Lord Blakie…song “Maria”
which was well performed by the Band and received with open enthusiasm, nice vibes made the attendance happy like pappy.
No fireworks just a dimensionally Independent potpourri of
treats provided by Gerald Yorke.
