unji seems ready indeed what for…well probably it’s a combination of his brand ,style and willingness to keep defending his craft, described by popular belief as a lyrical King and having the ability to convey a musical delivery at 7 times the rate of an average performer, with a precise modulation to his depth.
During his interview with Slam 100.5 fm he connected, with the crowd through an open discussion of music and Soca expressed simple, in his words a profession, within the entertainment industry, considered equally important to him as any other genre of music discipline in the world.
Bunji’s definition to having and using a foreign musical platform to showing our music is fantastic welcoming, the Universal acceptance as such, a huge magnitude of timely exposure, whereas gaining validation, does not come from the Grammy Awards per say, as Soca was there before and represents much more, a people, nation and society,which gives us even more from inception, its history far exceeds the imagination that matches a kind of bewilderment and makes Mas through us, with pure excitement for all to behold.
His deep appreciation for family and avid supporters of the Asylum movement, during years gone and present, was mentioned with pride, he also give us an insight to his I Spaniard concept, as it reflects modern technology advancement such as the I Phone etc.
Not to mention his fusion of Soca through various rhythms, such as the cosmic and 40ft tone. just to mention a few ,he wishes his fans full enjoyment and excitement, towards leading the charge and giving thanks for his immense success to the man above, through him all things are possible.
