York Labour Day Celebrations .
Well, if you missed it! Be the first to know that Reigning
Soca Monarch, and Road March Champ Machel Montano... is now the new unofficial Governor
of Governors Island New York 2015.
Considering
he headlined the Hott 97 On Da Reggae & Soca Tip at
Governors Island New York , alongside acts, such as veteran Barington
Levy, Reggae star Egyptian , Dance-hall artiste Konshens Colli Budz and
Steve Martin.
A blended cast with somewhat similar ,variations, usually reminiscent to
Machel Monday concert held in T&T .
"THE BOSS" had the massive crowd in a frenzy working
them like a master magician of his craft; Star Dj representing HOTT 97 Bobby
Konders… looked amazed watching the showman, performance from backstage, as Machel blew a breath of energy
into the crowd, as they lapped up every hit song performed on a golden platter.
Overlooking, the freedom towers of Manhattan Governors Island
stage and venue with the backdrop of Manhattan city sky line ,enriching
with the lady that wrote that Grammy hit empire state of mind Angela
Hunte, To signal that "PARTY DONE' or shall we say party restart.
In the end a blast to close the concert with Montano
being hailed as the new Governor of Governors Island and HOTT 97 on Da Reggae
and Soca Tip.
Machel
didn’t stop... as he made brief stops for photos with fans, flagging
him down for more… admiration pics . Thereafter it was off to the
boiler room Brooklyn
… a change in mood for a more up, close and personal steamy affect.
