Venice Film Festival:
Probably
Dieter Kosslick regrets the decision. After all, the 2006 Berlinale did
not want to show the "Life of the Others" by Florian Henckel von
Donnersmarck. A mistake, as many found: The Stasi drama was enormously successful
and won numerous international awards, including the Oscars abroad. Now
Henckel von Donnersmarck has made a new film - and submitted it to the festival
in Venice. There his "work without an author" competes in the
competition for the Golden Lion.
