The country with the most Christmassy spirit is Norway topping the European top ten lists for having the best Christmas ever.
As the Christmas season is characterized by cold mornings, crystal clear landscapes, reindeer, lots of snow and cookies… sorry Trini folks no ‘Ham’ here.
The main Christmas celebration takes place on December 24th and is known as Julafren. On this evening, the whole family gathers for dinner and exchange gifts…and believe it or not the Christmas tree is not decorated until December 23rd as it’s dedicated to decorating the tree and baking Christmas cookies.
